Slow-Cooker Cheeseburger

In slow cooker, mix

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 4 cups chopped onions (3 to 4 medium)
  • 2 cans (28 ounces each) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 cup steak sauce
  • Your favorite toppings and condiments, like mushrooms or mustard

Cover and cook on Low heat setting 8 hours, or on High heat setting 4 hours.

Stir in

  • 16 oz cheese, cubed or shredded
  • Optional:  pickle relish
